Saltaire Arts Trail

I had an amazing time this weekend with Bev Madden of Mrs Madden Makes (http://www.mrsmaddenmakes.co.uk/) at the Saltaire Arts Trail and Makers Fair meeting lots of very talented people creating the most gorgeous goodies.

It was a pleasure to be a customer rather than a seller and having time to browse, chat and swap ideas with people.

Can't wait for the next Saltaire Festival in September !

In the meantime, if you like individual and usual gifts take a look at the following, they are awsome

Mellor Ware by Lianne Mellor

I met a lovely lady by the name of Lianne Mellor at the Devonshire Street Market last week. Lianne is a wonderfully talented illustrator and the designer and maker of the beautiful timeless tea ware called Mellor Ware.

Lianne Mellor's illustrations are derived from observations of British wildlife, mixed with a generous helping of imagination and a pinch of the bizarre.

Mellor Ware has just been accepted by Liberty of London - how wonderful is that??

Take a peek at Lianne's website www.mellorware.co.uk
